Hello! My name is Ciara Winland, In 2018 I received my degree in Early Childhood Education. I have worked with children for the past 8 years. Six of those years I was working as a paraprofessional through the Life Skills Program. Working with children with cognitively impaired disabilities really opened my eyes to a broader meaning of teaching and caring for my students. The past 2 years I have been working with children in the 3 to 4 year age range at a learning center. As I taught at the learning center I loved being around young children helping them grow and progress in various life skills. Outside of working with children, I am a mother to a wonderful son, who also attends Valparaiso Montessori School. On my down time I love traveling with my husband and son. We plan to travel together to many countries in the future! My favorite so far has been Barbados!

Working with children has been a wonderful gift in my life and I’m excited to be apart of the Valparaiso Montessori School family!
